PAVEL LEFTROV WITH STEADY PERFORMANCE IN THE GT4 SERIES  

Both the summer and the European GT4 Series are in full swing in the middle of July. On 15^th and 16^th July, 2017, Slovakia ring hosted the fourth round of the North Cup Championship.Pavel Lefterov competed with the Porsche Cayman GT4 MR in the German team RN VISION STS with the German John-Louis Jasper in the PRO class.In the first qualification, Lefterov’s teammate saved the 16^th position for the first start. In the second part, Lefterov achieved a third time, but the race director decided that he hindered another pilot and punished him by taking three positions. So, on Sunday he was assigned the 6^th position of the grid.However later during the day all eight KTM cars were disqualified due to non-compliance with the technical requirements and the starting grid was rearranged.

In the first race, Louis Jasper started 8^th and entered the pit at 15^th position. After the pilot change, Pavel Lefterov was very fast and managed to move 9 positions up in the list. He struggled till the end, but time was up and he finished 7^th in the general ranking and 5^th in his class.On Sunday, Lefterov was 4^th of the grid and made an excellent start, but in the first lap, due to an accident, a safety car came out and the real race was restarted in the fourth lap. Unfortunately, while in pursuit of the third position in the general ranking Pavel Lefterov couldn’t stop and went into the safety zone in one of the turns due to a problem with the brakes.

The next round of the European GT4 Series North Cup Championship will take place on 19^th and 20^th August in Zandvoort, the Netherlands.
